Two Die In Diamond Bar House Fire; Search For Son Continues
Two residents perished, along with a family pet, in a house fire on Crooked Creek Dr. overnight. Their son was reported missing.

DIAMOND BAR, CA — The bodies of a man and woman were discovered inside a burning Diamond Bar home in what officials called a "possible homicide."
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators were at the scene early Friday, Nov. 2, where the victims, believed to be the married homeowners, were found inside what remained of the master bedroom, along with the body of their dog.
Investigators were still seeking the son of the couple, a man in his 30s, who lived with his parents, LA County Sheriff's homicide Lt. John Corina said.

The coroner has not yet positively identified the deceased couple, Corina said or released the cause of death.
Arson investigators told reporters that "an accelerant may have been used inside the home."

Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 4:45 a.m. on the 3600 block of Crooked Creek Drive in a home that had "no working smoke detectors," LAFD Captain Tony Imbrenda reported from the scene.
