Hydromechs ROV, an underwater robotics team based in the Diamond Bar-Walnut area, is recruiting engineering-minded middle and high schoolers
Hydromechs ROV is an underwater robotics competition team that competes in the MATE competition, an international competition which aims to foster creative development and interest in marine science and engineering. The team designs and builds competitive robots which perform multiple tasks of dexterity underwater throughout the season which starts in the fall and ends in the spring. The team placed 2nd in their most recent event at the Southern California regional at Long Beach, tragically falling short of qualifying for international competition by one ranking. You or your child may be the ones who we need to help us qualify for international competition next year! We are looking for passionate middle and high schoolers in the Walnut Valley area who are interested in learning Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering. No experience required to apply. Applications are due June 3rd at 11:59PM. Full application details can be found at: wvquantum.weebly.com/apply
