Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel quickly extinguished a fire that erupted on Valley Boulevard near Grand Avenue this afternoon.
The five-acre brush fire at 22063 E. Valley Boulevard broke out about 4:30 p.m. and was put out around 30 minutes later, said Capt. Mark Savage of the county fire department.
