Walnut Power Outage Affects Thousands
The power outage left 1,574 customers without power amid muggy 90-degree heat Saturday afternoon.
WALNUT, CA — A Southern California Edison power outage left nearly 1,600 customers in Walnut without electricity amid muggy conditions in the low 90s Saturday afternoon.
Edison officials acknowledged the outage Saturday and said crews were working to identify and repair the damage. The outage was reported at about 3 p.m, and as of 4 p.m., 1,574 customers still had no electricity.
According to Edison's outage map, workers still had not identified the cause of the problem as of 4 p.m. The power was restored before 7 p.m. Saturday
