The Diamond Bar Library invites garden enthusiasts to learn the basics of gardening during a free two-series workshop. "Gardening the Easy Way" is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Aug. 25 and Sept. 29 in the Diamond Bar City Hall - Windmill Community Room located at 21810 Copley Drive. Local organic gardening expert Rishi Kumar will lead the hands on workshop, according to city officials. Participants will learn how to create a fruitful backyard garden from scratch – from designing a garden layout that best suits space availability and plant type to selecting the best plants and determining their specific soil and water needs, officials said.
