Woman Killed After Crashing into Pole

A motorist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Industry this morning, a sheriff's sergeant said.

The crash at Valley Boulevard and Fairway Drive occurred at 3:39 a.m., said a sergeant at the sheriff's Industry station.

The motorist, an unidentified woman, reportedly struck a pole, said Coroner's Investigator Dana Bee. A representative from the Coroner's Office was dispatched to the scene at 5:12 a.m.
