WALNUT, CA--The Walnut Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees elected Larry Redinger as President, Layla Abou-Taleb as Vice President, and Dr. Tony Torng as Clerk during the annual reorganization meeting on December 11.

The new officers will serve one-year terms through December 2020.

Trustee Helen Hall was honored with an engraved crystal plaque for her service as the 2019 Board President.

“Helen is one of the best presidents in the State and represents us so well,” Redinger said.

“She does so much for our kids!” Abou-Taleb added.

Hall has served as a WVUSD Board Member since 1985.

In addition, she is Regional Director for the CSBA Delegate Assembly and Board Member in the East San Gabriel Valley ROP/TC.
