1 Killed In I-80 Off-Ramp Crash

FAIRFIELD, CA -- At least one person died today after a two-vehicle collision occurred on a Fairfield highway, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision was first reported around 11:20 a.m. on the Chadbourne Road off-ramp from eastbound Interstate Highway 80, just east of state Highway 12, according to CHP officials.

One of the vehicles was reported to have major front-end damage, CHP officials said.

No other information was immediately available.
