6 Arrests Made In Fairfield PD Minor-Decoy Sting
Underage youth asked adults to buy them beer -- and those who did were busted.

From Fairfield Police Department:
On 6/10/15 Officers of the Fairfield Police Department’s Patrol Special Operations Team, Crime Prevention Unit and Police Explorers conducted a decoy operation targeting people who furnish alcohol to minors.
The Summer months bring with it graduations, holidays, parties and fun activities out in the sun. Unfortunately, when alcohol is introduced to these events the results can often be deadly.

Fairfield Police Explorers, who are several years below the legal age to purchase alcohol, approached individuals in parking lots of local businesses. The Explorers clearly explained to the subjects that they were under the age of 21 and asked if they would buy them beer. 47 individuals were contacted during the 6 hour operation.
The following people were arrested, cited and released on suspicion of furnishing alcohol to a minor:

Loyce Caldwell, 21 year old male from Concord
Willie Myles, 27 year old male from Oakland
Gurdeep Singh 48 year old male from Vacaville
Datrius Balley 20 year old male from Fairfield
Marcus Boddie 38 year old male from Fairfield
Additionally, Markeyah Zinn a 21 year old female from Fairfield provided a false identity to Officers after being contacted for furnishing alcohol to a minor. After discovering her real name she was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for her arrest. She was booked at Solano County Jail for the warrant.
The locations for these contacts were chosen for their high volume of alcohol related incidents. Officers targeted the 200 block of East Tabor, the 800 block of East Travis, the 1800 and 1900 block of North Texas and the 1300 block of West Texas Street.
The Fairfield Police Department’s Patrol Special Operations Team plans to conduct additional decoy operations throughout the Summer.
