• Dixon City Council imposes 45-day moratorium on new data centers (fox40.com) — Dixon's City Council has put a 45-day pause on approving any new data centers or large battery storage facilities so leaders can study their impacts on water, air, noise, and taxes. Although no projects are currently proposed, officials say the moratorium will likely be extended while they craft clear rules, aiming to ensure residents aren't surprised by future developments.
