• Dixon Approves Temporary Data Center Ban (independentvoice.com) — Dixon's City Council has put a 45-day pause on new data centers and battery energy storage projects so officials can study their impacts on water, power use, noise, and emissions. The move follows new state laws and nearby large energy proposals, and councilmembers say they'll use the moratorium to craft clearer rules before any projects are proposed in town.
