The City of Dixon is offering a Babysitting 101 course February 26 – 27, from 3:30 pm-6:30 pm. In this class you will learn the skills needed to be a responsible babysitter. This American Red Cross class will help participants learn to care for children and infants, be a good leader and role model, exercise good judgment and problem solving, keep the children they babysit and themselves safe, handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and house hold accidents, and more. This class will also help you get an edge on babysitting jobs.
This class is for students ages 11-16. The class will be located at the Dixon Senior Multi-Use Center. The class costs $57.00 and registration is currently being taken at Dixon City Hall or online at www.ci.dixon.ca.us.
