Boy Abducted Outside Fairfield Home Found Safe

Police now hunting owner of bicycle left at the scene when the car -- with the child, 8, inside -- was stolen from driveway.

A boy who was abducted in Fairfield early this morning, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue an Amber Alert, has been found safe, police and CHP officials said.

Brock Guzman had last been seen at about 4:45 a.m. inside his parents’ silver Toyota Corolla, which was taken while it was warming up in the driveway of their home, according to police. The car was later found with Brock inside and unharmed, according to the CHP. The suspect in the case remains at large.

A bicycle was left at the scene of the abduction and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying its owner.
