BLOG: A Message for Dixon’s Possible Video Billboard Owners

At the last City Council meeting held on 4/09/2013 the City Council discussed a Video Billboard or "Electronic Message Center" to be located on North Lincoln Street across from Ron DuPratt Ford.

Though the signs do provide a revenue stream to the city they can become a eyesore for others. The main issue being the immense amount of light emitted by the boards at night and on overcast days. It has become a huge issue in Los Angeles to the extent that a local Judge has ordered them shut down.

Dixon Video Billboard operators and owners ought to consider being ahead of the curve on this, given notice here and now.
