Dixon Youth Basketball League Coach Needed!

The Parks and Recreation department is looking for an annual three month commitment from January to March to train and coach the youth of our city. The primary goal of this program is to provide all players with a warm, nurturing and supportive environment in which they can improve skills, participate in a team atmosphere and share a common commitment with one another. It is important for both the coach and players to have FUN! Volunteer Applications will be accepted during October and November. There would be 1-2 practice sessions in the evenings per week and then a game each weekend.

Requirments: Coaching experience needed along with a balance of enthusiasm, respect, and appropriate standards of behavior (both on and off the court).
