Is It Wrong To Celebrate A Death?

My first instinct would be to answer "yes!"  However, in the case of the recent demise of the tyrant, mass murderer, terrorist and 911 master-mind, Osama bin Laden, I reconsider ...  Although killing and death should not be glorified, I feel in this case it is more of a matter of public safety, retribution and peace of mind.  I wonder if this sort of debate was even an issue when Hitler died??  

Of course there will be new pschyo, killer, nutjob, extremists popping up to take his place. That's the exact reason to take out the ones we know of and can find when we have the opportunity!  

So my answer is — no it's not wrong and yes, I will celebrate a bit of justice!
