I’m sitting backstage in the dark. Having just finished entering payroll for the week. Before that I was running like a mad man to finish a last minute high def video fiber optic feed. I’m very tired and sore. The DJ winds down his set. The emcee takes the microphone and whips the crowd up, train whistles roar through the room lights spin. The lead singer is being wired up backstage….is this the way it is suppose to be he asks his manager….the band is playing…lead singer runs onto stage….crowd roars….emcee announces Ladies and Gentlemen “TRAIN” oh man I’m tired…but you know somehow it is all worth it….thirty years of this addiction to show business….will I ever be able to walk away?
