New Innovative School Option for the Yolo-Solano Area

When I was 24, I began a Waldorf Charter school in Chico (where I relocated to Dixon from).  I love the Waldorf philosophy but also love homeschooling.  However, I am finding that there is not much of a strong, consistant support/educational community for homeschoolers in the area and I'm a HUGE community person!

So, here I am- once again planning and developing a new program that will more meet our needs and hopefully others in the community as well.  If you have a child in grades k-6th and are seeking something between the all day, everyday plus homework path of traditional school programs and the on your own, isolation currently associated with local homeschool options, let's talk!

Class will be offered 3 days a week for 4 hrs a day with stong parental involvement.  This will be a true co-operative community of folks educating our children together via a holistic, hands on approach.  The program will encorporate the core subjects as well as unique things such as music, foreign language, cooking, gardening, yoga, art, knitting and more!

Also, if you know of a possible site such as a church, a suitable building on a farm or an available room on other school grounds in the Davis, Dixon, Winters or Vacaville area, that is safe and affordable, please let me know!
