Congrats To Solano Co. Winners Of Attendance Awareness Poster Contest!
More than 200 students from throughout the district participated.

The Solano County Office of Education has announced the winners of the 2016 Solano CountyWide Attendance Awareness Poster Contest.
September was Attendance Awareness Month and the SCOE provided school districts with the opportunity to spread the word about the critical role that school attendance has on student achievement by hosting this contest for students. The Attendance Awareness Poster Contest was a great success with more than 200 participants from multiple districts in Solano County.

The winners and their categories are:9th grade – 12th grade
- 1st – Eric Cortes, 9th grade, Rodriguez High School, Early College High School (ECHS), Fairfield Unified School District (FSUSD)
- 2nd – Julia Mercado, 9th grade Rodriguez High School ECHS, FSUSD
- 3rd – Kevin Anderson Jr., SCOE Transition Program, SCOE
- 1st – Jasmine Griffeth, 7th grade, Golden West Middle School, Travis Unified School District (TUSD)
