Construction Of Gold Star Foods Facility In Dixon Underway
Job openings will be announced in the spring or summer of 2016.
Gold Star Foods Inc. broke ground this month at its new 188,000-square-foot facility at 1000 Vaughn Road in Dixon, which will allow the company to better serve northern California schools in supplying fresh, wholesome and nutritious foods, company officials said.
“Gold Star Foods is excited to begin construction and further invest in our operations as an outstanding food service distributor to school districts,” said Gold Star Foods CEO Sean Leer. “Our team looks forward to our new facility in Dixon and is committed to supporting the local community.”
Gold Star is planning to announce future job opportunities, as the new Dixon facility is set to open in the spring/summer 2016.
