Counts Mount After Traffic Stop: Loaded Shotgun; Concealed Knife; Pills
The two suspects arrested Sunday are from Fairfield.

Fairfield police arrested two men Sunday afternoon on suspicion of carrying a loaded concealed shotgun during a traffic stop, police said.
At 2:05 p.m. officers stopped 25-year-old Lorenzo Jones of Fairfield in the 700 block of Delaware Street for lack of license plates or evidence of current registration, according to police.
Upon further investigation, police said officers identified a passenger in the vehicle as 22-year-old Billy Wayne Breedlove of Fairfield. Police said Breedlove told officers he had a medical marijuana card, and allegedly admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in his backpack.

Police said officers asked Jones and Breedlove if there was anything else illegal in the car and Breedlove allegedly admitted to having a loaded shotgun. Jones and Breedlove were ordered out of the vehicle and detained, according to police.
The shotgun was a 12-gauge pump action Mossberg 500 with a high capacity magazine and pistol grips, police said. The gun was loaded with five rounds and there were seven more rounds on the seat.

Police said Jones was allegedly in possession of Hydrocodone pills without a prescription and a concealed dirk or dagger.
According to police, Jones was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and having a concealed dirk or dagger.
Breedlove was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed loaded firearm.
Both men were booked into the Solano County Jail and each are being held on $20,000 bond.
