Dead Body Found In Fairfield Park; Possible Homeless Man

The Solano County Coroner's Office will investigate cause of death.

From the Fairfield Police Department:

On August 6, 2015, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Fairfield Police Department’s Dispatch Center received information there was a possible dead body in Allan Witt Park. Police Officers responded to the park and found a 52 year-old male lying deceased in the grass.

The man has been identified as a local transient. The death appears to be of natural causes, however, the cause of death will not be known until a determination is made by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.

The policy of the Fairfield Police Department is to not release the name of the decedent until family notifications have been made.
