DIXON GIRLS SOFTBALL 8U SUPER STARS OFF TO GREAT START

The Dixon Girls Softball 8U Super Star team competed in their first tournament last weekend and finished with a record of 3-0 with wins over Rocklin 2-1, Lincoln 2-0 and Elk Grove 4-1.  These were very close games and were won by great pitching and defense.  These teams are voted on by the coaches of the Spring season teams to form 1 “All Star” team to represent the City that they are from.  These are some very good players that are formed to compete in these tournaments.

This year the Dixon girls 8U division had a total of 4 teams and a total number of 43 players that the coaches had to choose from.  Out of those 43 players only 12 players were selected by the coaches to play on this team so it is something that these young ladies should be proud of and remember for the rest of their lives!

This year the team selected for the Dixon Super Stars is as follows:  Team Specialized Construction had a total of 5 players make the team.  Audrey Graham, Mattison and Makenzie Kwarta, Felesha LePenske and Abbie Ming.  Team Allied had a total of 4 players.  Meagan Duarte, Camryn Elliot, Jill Obelleiro and Sara Yates.  Team Stitching Solutions had 2 players.  Caitlyn Hendershot and Alexia Gomez.  Team Teigens Cabinets had 1 player Hayli Thomas.
