Dixon Girls to Open Basketball Tourney on Road at East Union
Rams are seeded 10th, will travel to Manteca foe on Tuesday

The bad news is that Dixon High's girls basketball team won't open the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III tournament at home. The good news is that the Rams' late-season surge gives them high hopes.
The Rams were seeded 10th on Sunday and will being the section Division III tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 22 in Manteca against No. 7 seed East Union of the Valley Oak League.
The youthful Rams are confident that having won six of their last seven games puts them in position to be competitive -- even on the road.
