Dixon MPHS Class Of 2020 Graduation

Our ceremony will be drive through style. Students and their families will line their cars up in front of Anderson Elementary School at 6:45 pm The first car in line will pull into the MPHS school parking lot through the exit. The graduate will exit the car and stand under the balloon arch to receive their diploma and other goodies. Families may take pictures from a safe physical distance. The car exits and the next car pulls in.
The ceremony will be professionally recorded by Timeline Productions, edited, and posted to YouTube. If weather permits, there will be drone pictures as well. Please feel free to decorate your cars and your caps!
Caps and gowns may be picked at the MPHS office on Monday, June 1, 2020 between 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. This ceremony is a first for all of us. I am looking forward to seeing you. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached by email at yramos@dixonusd.org or (707) 693-6340.

I am pleased to announce that we have a graduation ceremony planned for you. It will not be the traditional ceremony that we are used to having, but it will be fun. Our plan is to hold the graduation ceremony on June 3. We will be changing the schedule of the event, now it will take place at 7pm, since it will be outdoors.
Our ceremony will be in the style of a decorated car parade. Students and families will line up in cars on the Anderson Elementary School sidewalk at 6:45 pm The first car on the line will enter the MPHS parking lot on the exit side. The graduate will get out of the car and take place under the balloon arch that we will have there, to receive his diploma and other gifts. Families will be able to take photos from a safe distance. The car will exit the parking lot and the next car will enter.
The ceremony will be professionally recorded by Timeline Productions, edited and posted on YouTube. If the weather permits, they will also be taking photos with a drone. Feel free to decorate your cars and hats!
You can pick up your gowns and caps at the MPHS office on Monday, June 1 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. This way of celebrating graduation is new for everyone. I look forward to seeing you.
