Dixon Patch Viewfinder: Early Cinco de Mayo Celebration Has Everyone in Synch at St. Peter's Church

Last Sunday, after standing-room-only church services at Dixon's St. Peter's Church ended, just about everyone migrated a few doors down the street to the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration. It was a day for families, flirting, and -- as you can see in the photos -- good food.  Young people danced to the music of a four-piece band. The temperature reached 85 -- just about perfect for this kind of event.
