The Fryed Brothers Band will play an encore veteran's benefit performance this Friday, April 27, from 8 pm until midnight at the Dixon Veteran's Memorial Hall. This is the third benefit the group has played in Dixon to help the local American Legion post finance its operation. The performance is open to the public and there is a cover charge of only $10. This world famous band from the 70's opened in huge concerts for groups like ZZTop and Willie Nelson. The band members live in Northern California and their southern/rock style still has a big following and they continue to tour. They recently played in Thailand. In addition to the live music and dancing the Legion's restaurant will be open as well as a full bar. Legion Commander and Veteran's Hall manager Greg Coppes, said, "It is rare to have this quality of live entertainment play for a local event like ours. I encourage everyone who would like to hear a truly professional group play some great music to join us Friday night. You won't be disappointed."
