How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Winner of seven Tonys and the Pulitzer Prize in 1961, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying comes to the Davis Musical Theatre Company stage on April 22 through May 15, 2011.  Following the advice of a book entitled, "How to Succeed in Business" (voiced by Good Day Sacramento’s Don Geronimo), a young window-cleaner, J. Pierrepont Finch (David Holmes), begins a meteoric rise from the mail-room to Vice President of Advertising at the World-Wide Wicket Company. However, Finch's dubious and uncompromising business ambition endangers not only his career but also a budding romance with secretary Rosemary Pilkington (Kay Hight).

Directed and choreographed by Rand Martin and musical direction by Steve Isaacson and Chris Congdon, “How To Succeed…” features hits that became standards in the 1960’s including, "I Believe in You," "Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm," "The Company Way," "Been a Long Day," "Rosemary," and "Brotherhood of Man.
