The Solano Land Trust invites you to meet with Larry Broderick, who has been studing raptors for over a decade and loves to share his knowledge with both novice and experienced birders.
Lynch Canyon's hilly and open grasslands are an ideal place to view winter migrating species, year-round residents, and newly fledged raptors. Last October, participants counted four golden eagles, twenty red-tailed hawks, twelve Northern harries, eight American kestrels and many other hawks and falcons.
Meet at the Lynch Canyon parking lot 9:00 a.m. sharp. The gates to the park will be closed at 9:15 a.m. The tour will go until 12p.m. or 2 p.m. Bring water, snacks, sun protection, layered clothes, jacket and binoculars if you have them.
