The Dixon Game and Conservation Club will sponsor a Hunter Safety Class on March 17th and 18th, 2012. The class will be held at the Dixon Game Club building 250 West Mayes street. According to John Kett, a DFG instructor and president of the club, "Classes will be held from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 8 am to 12 noon on Sunday. March 17th and 18th Students must attend both days. Cost for the class is $10. If you are interested call (707) 678-9155 and leave a message with your name and a return phone number. The club will provide lunch on Saturday. Students should be at least 10 years old and must pass a 100 question test at the end of the class to receive their hunter safety certificate which enables them to buy a California Hunting license. The club provide all supplies."
