Fairfield Gunshot Victim Dies At Hospital Wednesday Night

A 19-year-old man was the victim of a homicide in Fairfield late Wednesday night, police said.

Police responded around 11:10 p.m. to the NorthBay Medical Center, where a shooting victim who had come into the hospital was later pronounced dead, Lt. Stephen Crane said.

The victim’s name is not yet being released.

Fairfield police did not immediately release any other information about the case.
