Free Reusable Face Covering Giveaway Events In Solano County
Free reusable face covering giveaway events will take place in Vallejo on June 19 and in cities of Fairfield and Dixon on June 20.

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Department of Health and Social Services, Public Health Division, is participating in a series of free reusable face covering giveaway events hosted by the Links2Hope and Pull Up Neighbor community organizations. The free reusable face covering giveaway events will take place in the city of Vallejo on Friday, June 19 and in the cities of Fairfield and Dixon on Saturday, June 20.

Anyone interested in getting a free reusable face covering can walk or drive up to the location. Participants will receive a bag, including a washable/reusable face covering along with resource information from Solano County Public Health on ways to stay safe and healthy during COVID-19. Social distancing protocols will be implemented during the event and all volunteers will be equipped with the proper personal protective equipment, including gloves and face coverings.
FACE COVERING GIVEAWAY EVENT INFORMATION- Friday, June 19, 2020: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, top parking lot, located at 1001 Fairgrounds Drive in Vallejo, 94589- Saturday, June 20, 2020: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Mount Calvary Baptist Church, located at 1735 Enterprise Drive, Building 3 in Fairfield, 94533- Saturday, June 20, 2020: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Miracle Christian Worship Center, located at 470 East H Street in Dixon, 95620As Solano County moves to relax its Stay-at-Home health order, we encourage all residents to continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California Department of Public Health and Solano County Public Health social distancing best practices, including wearing a cloth face covering outside your home whenever physical distancing cannot be maintained, maintaining a physical distance of six feet from others, practicing coughing and sneezing etiquette, using a hand sanitizer or washing your hands for at least 20-seconds and to stay at home if you're not feeling well.

FREE COVID-19 TESTING FOR ANYONE IN SOLANO COUNTYAs more businesses and activities begin to re-open, it is important to remember that you can be tested for COVID-19, regardless of symptoms. Testing is open to anyone in the community, including County residents, agricultural workers, the homeless, and undocumented individuals. Testing is free and by appointment only.
