Funds are being raised to purchase a specially equipped van for Kelsa Gentry, a local mother who was left a paraplegic after a traffic accident in 2013.
The event is from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday -- July 12 -- at Northwest Park on West H Street in Dixon, and will include hot dogs, a bake sale, face-painting and a raffle.
