Getting Ready for the Dixon May Fair Parade

About an hour-and-a-half before the start of the big parade, lawn chairs lined the streets of Downtown Dixon in anticipation for the yearly tradition.

The streets of were filled with little leaguers, horses, dancers, karate students, music and many other parade entries as they waited for the parade to begin.

Some parade particpants rehearsed routines, others chatted with their fellow marchers while some seemed content to do a bit of people watching.
