For Teens: Golden 1 Credit Union's 'Mad City Money' Sessions

Golden 1 Credit Union's Mad City Money Sessions in Sacramento.

Golden 1 Credit Union has a long history of providing free financial education to our communities, specifically to help students prepare for financial independence.

Sign up for one of the six, hour-long Mad City Money simulations, which teaches teenagers basic money management in a safe, fun setting.

Each hands-on simulation gives teens a taste of the real world—complete with occupation, salary, spouse, housing, transportation, food, household necessities, clothing, student loan debt, credit card debt and medical insurance payments. Teens will learn how to navigate their way through earning money and having bills to pay, all while balancing a budget.
