Homicide: Injured, Bleeding Woman Found In Fairfield Parking Lot

The female succumbed to her injuries at a hospital, and investigators are looking into her murder.

FAIRFIELD, CA – A woman found assaulted and bleeding Monday night in a parking lot in Fairfield passed away from her injuries, and police now are investigating the homicide, according to authorities.

The Fairfield Police Department responded to an assault call shortly before 11 p.m. to a business on the 1700 block of North Texas Street where they found the victim unconscious and bleeding in the lot, the agency said.

The female, whose name was not released pending notification of kin, was given first aid and taken by paramedics to a hospital, where she died, police said.

Detectives from the Investigations Bureau are handling the investigation with no arrests yet made.
