K-9 Deputy Grizz Finds Discarded Gun After Suspects Flee

VACAVILLE, CA – Hard at work on Tuesday evening, K-9 Deputy Grizz found a stolen, loaded handgun in bushes in Vacaville as Solano County Sheriff's deputies assisted the Vacaville Police Department in the pursuit of three suspects, the department said.

During a vehicle traffic stop, three individuals reportedly jumped out of the car and took off on foot, deputies said.

The trio eventually was apprehended, and during a subsequent search of the area for any discarded items, Grizz made his find, the agency said, adding "Working together towards a common goal!"
