Karaoke, Pumpkins and High School Musical Entertainment This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend other than look out the window and wonder if more rain is coming? Well, let's take a look at the Dixon Patch Calendar and see what we can find.

--- If it is October, we all know it is time for thousands of folks to check out Dixon as they come to the world's largest corn maze and grab a pumpkin from . Sure, tourists are jamming up the exits on I-80 to get there, but this is for us locals too!

--- If singing is your thing, remember that every Saturday night is at on 1st Street. First notes get belted out at 9 p.m. and there's songs going until 1 a.m.

--- Want to watch others do the music? OK, head over to Davis this weekend for a rendition of , performed by the Young Performers Theater. Showtimes are 7:15 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, with matinees at 2:15 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $8 per person for the shows at the Hoblit Performing Arts Center, 607 Pena Dr. in Davis.
