Local writer Susie Klein of Dixon won a May writing contest sponsored by Midlife Collage.
Susie is coping with the recent loss of her mother in the short story “A House Full of Flowers.”
Susie wanders around her parent’s house and confides, “It feels as if I am trespassing—without her here.”
