Man Found Dead Near Dixon Is Identified

DIXON - The Solano County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who was found dead in a residence near Dixon on Sunday night as Oscar Figueroa Sr., 57, of Vallejo.

Figueroa was stabbed during a break-in of the residence and appears to have been targeted, according to the sheriff's office.

The homicide occurred in the 8400 block of Wild Rose Lane in rural unincorporated Solano County northeast of Dixon. Sheriff's deputies responded around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
