GOOD NEWS UPDATE: Missing Child, Autistic Boy In Fairfield Found

He last was reported missing this afternoon near Green Valley Rd and Eastridge.

UPDATE: Sunday, Jan, 11, 4:20 p.m.

Update: The missing child, Jess O’hara, was located inside Rockville Park. He is safe and being reunited with his parents.

From the Fairfield Police Department:

The Fairfield Police Department received a report of a missing 9-year-old autistic child at 1:55 pm.

He was last seen in the open space, hill area near Green Valley Rd and Eastridge.

The missing child is Jess Ohara, a white male, 4’5”, 80 lbs with light red hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and black and fluorescent green sneakers. Officers are currently in the area searching on foot for the child.

Anyone with information regarding the child’s whereabouts should call 9-1-1 or contact the Fairfield Police Department at (707) 428-7300 immediately.
