Officials Release Name of Vacaville Man Shot, Killed In Oakland
The 29-year-old was pronounced dead Friday night at the scene. Two others were also shot and injured.

A man killed in a shooting in West Oakland on Friday night that injured two other people has been identified as 29-year-old Stephan Brooks of Vacaville.

Brooks was found when police responded to reports of gunfire in the 1100 block of 32nd Street at about 9 p.m. Friday, police said.
He was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers later learned a man and a woman who arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds had also been shot there.

Their injuries were not life-threatening. Police have not determined a motive for the shooting and have not identified or described any suspects.
