Register Your Dixon Neighborhood For 'National Night Out'

DIXON, CA -- On Tuesday, Aug. 2, the Dixon Police Department will be visiting neighborhoods to celebrate the 33rd Annual National Night Out.

The purpose of "National Night Out" is to enhance community-police awareness and to inform the public about various police and community programs. Additionally, it provides a unique opportunity to meet your local police and fire departments on a friendly and personal manner, according to organizers.

If you are interested in hosting a block party and having the Dixon Police and Fire Departments visit your block party, stop by the Dixon PD Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up your application.
