Restraining Order Violation; Hit-And-Run; Stolen Vehicles Recovered: Dixon Police Blotter

Also: drug possession; vehicle burglary; harassment; mailbox vandalism; suspicious circumstances.

DIXON, CA — The Dixon Police Department responded to the following significant incidents Sept. 5-11 within the city, according to daily police activity logs made publicly available.

Tuesday, Sept. 5:

  • At 8:34 a.m., suspicious circumstances were reported in the area of Folsom Fair Circle and Valley Glen Drive. Abandoned property was located and booked for safekeeping.
  • At 12:07 p.m., a vehicle burglary was reported in the 1200 block of Stratford Avenue.
  • At 5:01 p.m., a traffic stop in the 600 block of North 1st Street resulted in a citation to the 30-year-old driver for driving on a suspended license.
  • At 6:19 p.m., police assistance was requested at the site of a structure fire in the 600 block of North 1st Street.
  • At 11:13 p.m., a traffic enforcement stop was conducted in the 1000 block of Sommer Drive. Casinda Coker, 35, of Dixon, was cited on suspicion of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and probation violation. Melchor Romero, 50, of Dixon, was cited on suspicion of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coker and Romero were both released at the scene.

  • At 10:30 p.m., a stolen vehicle was recovered in the 1300 block of Stratford Avenue.
  • At 10:31 p.m., a stolen vehicle was recovered in the 1000 block of Sommer Drive.
  • At 11:16 p.m., a family disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Pembroke Way.

Thursday, Sept. 7:

  • At 2:31 p.m., a vehicle burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Kidds Way.
  • At 6 p.m., a battery was reported at Sutter Davis Hospital.

  • At 3:29 p.m., a physical fight was reported at Porter Road and the railroad tracks; the incident was related to a possible brandishing of a weapon that occurred in county earlier at Pittschool and Midway Road.
  • At 6 p.m., a hit-and-run collision was reported on Newgate Way near Stratford Avenue.

Saturday, Sept. 9:

  • At 4:48 p.m., a traffic stop at West A Street and Estates Drive resulted in a 22-year-old man being arrested for driving on a suspended license and a warrant for a previous case for which he failed to appear. He was cited and released from the scene.
  • At 5:30 p.m., a traffic collision involving a vehicle versus a bicyclist occurred at West A Street and the railroad tracks. Neither party was injured.

Sunday, Sept. 10:

  • At 8:51 a.m., a parking complaint resulted in a towed/stored vehicle.
  • At 10:02 p.m., harassment was reported in the 500 block of East D Street.

Monday, Sept. 11:

  • At 2:20 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, a domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of West Chestnut. Luis Leon-Alvarado, 29, of Dixon, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, felony battery, violation of a restraining order, burglary and intimidating a victim/witness. He was transported to the Solano County Jail.
  • At 9:13 a.m., vandalism to a mailbox was reported in the area of Regency Parkway and Mast Court.
  • At 11:02 a.m., threats were reported in the 500 block of College Way.
  • At 7:47 p.m., a vehicle burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Mariposa Drive.
