Solano Co. Woman Killed In Suspected DUI Crash
BREAKING: A Vacaville man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter in the crash Monday, police said.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- The Solano County coroner's office has identified a driver who died in a vehicle collision in Vacaville on Monday evening as 48-year-old Cynthia Clay. The collision between Clay's Honda sedan and a GMC SUV happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Nut Tree and Marshall roads, Vacaville police said.
Clay, a Vacaville resident, died at a trauma center at 6:29 p.m., according to the coroner's office.
The GMC driver, Thomas Astarita, 65, of Vacaville, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter, police said.
