Solano Investigators Searching For Clues In Dixon Homicide

DIXON - Deputies in Solano County continue to investigate a homicide that occurred in Dixon on Sunday.

The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the 8400 block of Wild Rose shortly after 11:30 a.m. on reports of a home break-in and stabbing.

Deputies arrived to find 57-year-old Oscar Figueroa Sr. dead inside the home as a result of a gunshot and not of the originally reported stabbing, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office said at this time the incident is still under investigation and does not appear to be a random crime, but rather a targeted attack on the victim.
