Solano Public Health is working closely with local health care providers, Bay Area health departments, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to closely monitor the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which originated in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China in December 2019. Chinese authorities identified the new coronavirus, which has resulted in thousands of confirmed cases globally. This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and Solano Public Health will provide updated information as it becomes available.
