Two Brothers Dead In Suspected Murder-Suicide In Fairfield
Tragically, this is the fifth murder-suicide in a little more than four weeks in the North and East Bay areas.

A suspected murder-suicide claimed the lives of two brothers Friday night in Fairfield, according to police.
The Fairfield Police Department was called at approximately 11 p.m. Friday to a home on the 2600 block of Beecham Court by a male stating a family member was shot --Β and another family member was the suspected shooter, police said.
Responding officers found two deceased males, 31 and 29, inside the home, police said. Each had gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fairfield department.

Detectives from Fairfield PDβs Major Crimes Unit stated that the incident appears to be a murder-suicide and that the decedents were brothers.
No additional information was released, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

This is at least the fifth murder-suicide case in the region in roughly the past four weeks:
