Vacancies On City Commissions: Parks and Recreation

VACANCIES ON CITY COMMISSIONS

The City of Dixon is currently accepting applications for the following vacancies on City Commissions:

Four (4) vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to recreation and park facilities. Commissioners serve two-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. All vacancies are two-year terms, with terms running July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022. The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. City residency is required. A stipend of $50.00 per month for meetings attended is paid to each. Commissioner. Interested Dixon residents may obtain an application at City Hall, 600 East A Street, by calling 678-7000, or by visiting the City’s website at www.cityofdixon.us. The deadline for filing applications is 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2020.
