Vacaville Crash Critically Injures Motorcyclist

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a collision Wednesday afternoon in Vacaville, police said. The collision occurred on Bella Vista Road near Davis Street, police said on social media at about 4:45 p.m. The motorcyclist, a 60-year-old Vacaville resident, was taken to a hospital following a collision with a four-door compact car.

Investigators are trying to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.

During the investigation, Bella Vista Road was closed for nearly three hours.
